My name is Robert Wilson, I’m a full-time professional wedding & Commercial photographer documenting memories and telling stories visually. I started photographing weddings in 2010 following a career in the TV & Film industry. I was able to quickly translate my experience and knowledge from motion images to still images and in the same year I shot my first wedding I was also nominated for Landscape Photographer of the year in 2010. Lush Wedding Photography West Lothian & Lush Wedding Photography Fife photograph weddings across the whole of Scotland and the UK.
Weddings deserve to be relaxed, it’s for that reason I choose to work in a documentary fashion for the majority of your wedding day. Having a background in TV & Film helps me to tell your story and follow the action without being obtrusive.
Lush Wedding Photography favours Canon professional camera equipment… and back up equipment. We carry 2 camera bodies with us at each wedding, and a third back up camera in the bag. We shoot with a range of zoom and prime lenses between f1.4 & f2.8. All our images are catalogued and stored in Adobe Lightroom and edited in Photoshop. On location we capture the images on Professional Sandisk SD Cards and generally back up these cards during the meal and at the end of the day.
Throughout the day I will be discrete, unobtrusive and sympathetic, but not invisible.
Guests relax more around photographers who they feel are people. For that reason I will chat and laugh while blending in. You will soon forget I’m a photographer and I will seem more like a guest.
If you think that sounds like how you want your wedding to be photographed, I would love to chat and get to know you and your partner and find out about your wedding plans. Please drop me an email or call me on 07546 235519
Documentary wedding photography is honest, atmospheric, natural and is a rich pictorial representation of your wedding.
Formal photographs make way for real emotions and real moments. Viewers should feel like they were at your wedding and they should understand who you are. That’s the story of your wedding.
I capture everything as it is, focusing on the emotions, the mood, the connection between people. I even want the portraits to be the part of the story, so I encourage every couple to be themselves and act exactly as they feel, and let me worry about the amazing landscape in the background.
